about us
Cheeku Films is a Bombay-born creative studio run by two filmmakers with wildly different energies and one common itch: to tell stories that don’t play safe.
Together, they built Cheeku not as a production house, but as a space where brands, scripts, and raw ideas meet craft, instinct, and a bit of madness.

Tabbu Krriya is a filmmaker and creative director with an eye for stories that feel as real as they are cinematic. Before founding Cheeku Films, she honed her craft across ad films, music videos, non-fiction roundtables, and short films - many of which have screened at leading festivals like Jio MAMI. Her film “Ajeeb Daastaan Hai Yeh” earned the Silver Gateway at Dimensions Mumbai. She’s worked closely with names like Anurag Basu Productions, Endemol Shine India, and Jio Studios on a range of projects including web series and feature films.
At Cheeku Films, she brings her signature blend of chaos and craft to every frame, creating content that connects.
Director, screenwriter, and the kind of person who’ll pitch a film idea mid-coffee spill. Chirpy, restless, and sharp with story.
Ajaey Naga Raaman is a filmmaker known for bringing big energy and even bigger ideas to every set. With a background in assistant direction across high-impact series and a relentless creative engine, Ajaey leads with vision, instinct, and the kind of presence that can rally a hundred people while managing to tweak a line or two.
He’s a natural storyteller - equally fluent in mood boards and madness - who thrives in the thick of production chaos, often with a quiet smirk and a shot list that somehow always works. His first short film is already in post, but his momentum’s been building long before the cameras rolled.
At Cheeku, Ajaey anchors the storm - master of momentum, wicked ideas, and a knack for turning mayhem into magic on set.

TABBU & AJAEY
"We’re here for the bold briefs, the brand films that deserve better, and the kind of content that doesn’t just look good - but lingers. Let’s make something worth talking about."
